It was a daunting task to select just six poems. But after carefully reviewing all the wonderful poems we’ve had the honor of publishing, we finally made our selection for this year’s Pushcart Prize Nominations.
Our congratulations to all six amazing poets. Poetry Breakfast is grateful to all of you for letting your work find a home on our menu.
Our Pushcart Prize Nominations for this year are as follows:
“Funeral Sandwiches” by Tricia McCallum
“Consigning Mother’s Ring” by Barbara Saxton
“Only” by Pamela Joyce Shapiro
“Learning Again” by Emily Rose Proctor
“Why I Still Have Hope for Humanity” by Ryan Warren
“Reduced” by Marjorie Thomsen
We wish the best of luck to all our nominees.
