The One Redemption Granted

I dive inside
the pages of my mind.
Looking for understanding.
I find only escape.
And a bizarre sort of forgiveness.
Detachment breeds peace.
In broken lines
of blackness.
Running like blood.
Through the silent white
of another world.
I am released.
From the pressures.
Of disappointing innocence.
