     The moon winks
     in the sky.
     The stars fall
     and you make
             a wish

             but stars
     once fallen
     never return

     to their place
     in the night sky.


Jamie Collins is a poet from Southwest Georgia currently living in Seattle, WA . He was born in Albany , GA in 1974.
