I Fumbled in the Darkness for My Wings

But they were broken.
So I abandoned flight,
and took to walking,
though “maps”
and “destinations”
were unfamiliar to me.

I’m looking for an adventure,
now, in my wingless,
flightless state.
So send me
on a fool’s errand.

I could use
the experience.
