It’s with great delight that we get to announce Poetry Breakfast’s Pushcart Nominees.
It was no simple task to select only six. We’ve been thrilled with the amazing poems that have graced our submissions inbox. However, we can only nominate six of the poems published this year in Poetry Breakfast. So, here they are:
Our Pushcart Prize nominations are as follows:
“I Wish My Mother Had Told Me” by Esha Malik
“any acorn can” by Alan Gann
“How to Brush a Dog to Transform Time” by Tricia Knoll
“A Note for You in the Wilderness” by Claire Coenen
“Care Loving” by Sharon Waller Knutson
“Pianist” by Aneek Chatterjee

All of these pieces are incandescent; they should all win this prize. Meanwhile, I wish each of the poets success here, and my hope you continue to share with us your luminous gifts.
