After the Storm
Such strange flowers bloomed
After the storm
Amid the destruction and debris
So difficult to notice
Through the veil of tears
Not common weeds
Dogged, outstanding blooms
Like the memories she washed away
A crisp kaleidoscope of buds
Cultivating hope
Against the backdrop of despair
Such striking flowers bloomed
After the storm
