Lover’s Apprehension

I want to say
I love you
but I do not
++++++trust myself
knowing that
++++++love is crafted
++++++in the mind
++++++―  and minds
++++++are not like oceans
but like sinks
++++++that drain
++++++when the
++++++plug
++++++is
++++++pulled.
